1. Volumetric flowmeter?

Positive displacement flowmeter, also known as PD flowmeter or PDF, is the most accurate type of flow meter. It uses mechanical measuring elements to continuously divide the fluid into individual known volume parts, and measures the total flow volume based on the number of times the measuring chamber sequentially and repeatedly fills and discharges that volume part of the fluid. His representatives include gears, scrapers, and rotary pistons. The internal design of a positive displacement flowmeter includes a space that constitutes a certain volume. The internal rotation of the flowmeter rotates under the pressure of the fluid flowing in from the inlet. With the rotation of the rotor, the fluid flows from the inlet to the outlet. At this time, during the rotation process, a certain volume space is formed between the rotor and the flowmeter housing, filling this space with fluid. With the rotation of the rotor, the fluid is continuously sent to the outlet. If the volume of the space is designed and the number of rotations of the rotor is measured, the volume given by the space can be obtained, thereby obtaining the volume of fluid flowing through it. In addition, based on the number of rotations of the rotor measured per unit time, the instantaneous flow rate can be obtained, which is the measurement principle of the volumetric flowmeter. PDF has high measurement accuracy, with a basic error of generally ± 0.5% R, and special ones can reach ± 0.2% R or higher. Usually used in expensive media or situations that require accurate measurement. PDF does not affect the accuracy of measurement when there is distortion in the velocity field of rotating flow and pipeline obstruction components,

and there is no requirement for a pre straight pipe section. This is of great significance in on-site use. PDF can be used for measuring high viscosity fluids. The range is wide, generally ranging from 10:1 to 5:1, with some reaching 30:1 or even larger. PDF is a direct reading instrument that does not require external energy and can directly obtain the cumulative total amount. It is clear and easy to operate. In indirect mass flow measurement using a combination of volumetric flow meters, compared with velocity derived volumetric flow meters, PDF directly measures the volume, and the factors affecting the volume are simpler. In high-pressure natural gas measurements that are not suitable for density measurement, the compressibility coefficient of gases that are difficult to handle can be indirectly obtained using PDF.

2. What does "plunger pump FMP" mean?

A plunger pump FMP refers to a positive displacement pump driven by a piston. It sucks in liquid and pushes it towards the outlet through the pushing force generated by the pressure inside the piston.

. This pump can be used for fluid transportation, liquid filling, high and low pressure transmission, and liquid circulation in various industrial fields. Compared to other types of pumps, plunger pump FMP has the advantages of simple structure, high maintainability, easy cleaning, and long service life. Therefore, the pump is widely used in industries such as chemical, gas, petroleum, construction, metallurgy, power, and medicine. It can effectively improve production efficiency and meet the needs of various industries for processes such as liquid transportation, filling, and circulation. Although plunger pump FMP has many advantages in use, attention
